Apple Mtp Usb Device Driver Download Install Update
I currently own an iPhone 5S and I have Windows 8. I was also able to browse my photos and videos and copy them to my computer. In the last week, something has stopped the iPhone from connecting as a camera device so that I can browse my iPhones photos and videos. This driver enables the iPhone to properly connect to iTunes and lets the iPhone be used as a mobile hotspot or ethernet connection.
When you look at the properties for iPhone it also states that there is a driver error! After reading on various web sites, I discovered that the Device Driver file is winusb.
This is the file that is causing the driver to not work properly. It is not digitally signed and cannot be used. When I uninstall all Apple software and drivers, and uninstall the Apple Mobile Device USB driver from device manager, the problem is that Windows automatically downloads a driver for this Device which seems to be corrupt and not digitally signed. I contacted Apple about the issue and they said that I should contact Microsoft as this driver is being downloaded from Microsoft and causing the issue.

Even a manual update is not possible access denied. Before uninstalling, the iPad was recognized as Apple Mobile Device Support but using the old version located at system Same result when trying to update the driver manually - access denied. Even turning off UAC, using the hidden admin account and starting Windows in safe mode won't grant access.

Right click on the device and select Uninstall from the pop-up menu. You will be asked to confirm the uninstall. Click OK button then the driver will be uninstalled. Click Action in top menu bar and click Scan for hardware changes. You can update the device driver just through Device Manager. Right-click on the device and select Update Driver Software…. Select Search automatically for updated driver software. If Windows fails to provide the new drivers, you can download the driver manually.
